3D geometry doubt.
Before starting out, I don't know if this is low level or not. I follow an Indian curriculum, so excuse me.
A=3i-j B=2i+j-3k
Express B as a sum of 2 vectors B1 + B2 where B1 is parallel to A, and B2 is perpendicular to A.
I have tried to solve it, but have only come up with this:
(B2).A = 0 and B1=zA (where z is any arbitrary constant)
Help me continue from there please.
Thank you.

Re: 3D geometry doubt.
Vectors are unfamiliar to me. In my math classes we've barely worked on problems with them, so I'm afraid that I can't really help you there. This problem is something that I've never done before.

Thanks for the effort, I'll ask my teacher when he gets back from vacations.
